Manali is a resort town in Himachal Pradesh, near the northern end of Kullu valley. It is an ancient trade route to Ladakh. The first apple orchard was set up by British people near Patlikuhl in 1870. It was recognized as world heritage city by UNESCO. Kasol is a most famous place in Kullu district, it is known as India's "Mini Israel". Solang valley is famous for paragliding and hot air balloon travel.Vashisht hot water springs are the unique identity of Himachal Pradesh. Manali has a more ancient Buddhist temples.
